Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
An Ecumenical Service was held to start the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at St Josephs Roman Catholic Church in Monks Kirby on Sunday 19th January.A cross  which can be seen in the photograph was made at this service. It will be taken to each of the churches the convent and the Revel School during the following week. Following 25 years of faithful service at Holy Trinity Church in Churchover Mr Tom Seekings played at his last service as the regular church organist. Tom has travelled countless miles in all weathers to be at Churchover for the services. He has also helped out at other churches in the Revel Group.
The Tom was presented with a DVD Recorder as a token of thanks from the Church. He also received a boquet of flowers on behalf of his wife.

We have managed to raise through pledges and donations about 16314000 towards our goal of 16335000 which is fantastic This includes the generous donation of a bell in memory of Harry Windsor a bellringer from Harbury near Southam. The bell will record this fact with an appropriate inscription. A big thank you to all those who have helped and encouraged us so far. Look out for events next year around the village that we will be organising  Our band has also been busy during this last year. We have trained three new recruits and won the Rugby Deanery Striking competition for the first time The cup stays in the Revel area for another ...</description>

  A Big Thank You to Ray and Joan
Ray Tailby moved into Churchover in 1939 and in the years since then he has been very active in village life.His work and worship at Holy Trinity Church has been an inspiration to many. With membership of the Parocial Church Council and roles as Church Treasurer and Churchwarden being appreciated by all. It is however his years as a Lay Reader taking many services and preaching that many will remember.Ray and his wife Joan have now moved into a neighbouring village but the local community could not let them go without showing their appreciation and affection. Lots of people came along to St Ediths Church to meet Jill and make her feel welcomed by the Revel Community. Children from the Revel School took part in the service. We are please to have Jill with us and look forward to working with her in the future. <description>        Revel Group Candidate at Cathedral Confirmation Service        Emily Wykes was confirmed at Coventry Cathedral by The Right Reverend John Stroyan Bishop of Warwick. There were a total of 100 candidates from the Coventry Diocese. With such a large number three Bishops were involved in the service.  Emily received her 1st Communion on Advent Sunday at her home church St John the Baptist Brinklow. Emily where was presented with a bible as a gift from the Revel Group of Parishes to mark her confirmation.
